Dr. Rachel Baylin is the third generation in her family dedicated to the practice of dentistry. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and went to work at the National Institutes of Health, managing the fellowship program for the National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and her residency at the NYU Langone Dental Medicine Center in Atlanta.
Dr. Baylin has completed post-graduate training in a broad range of fields, including biological dentistry, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics and functional orthopedics, ceramic implant dentistry and osseointegration, natural and complementary therapies, minimally invasive dentistry, safe mercury removal and detoxification, biocompatible and mercury safe dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, periodontal disease treatment and laser therapies, dental sleep medicine, TMJ, headaches, and craniofacial pain management, ozone therapies, cone beam CBCT technology, energy medicine, biofeedback enhanced diagnosis and autonomic response testing, and tongue function and its relationship to growth and sleep problems.
